Microsoft unveils Mobile Phones: KIN One, KIN Two

Official Website: www.kin.com

Some interesting facts:

According to CNet's opinion, Microsoft Kin is a social networking center for those who want to broadcast their every thought, sight, and sound--"lifecasters," as Microsoft's Robbie Bach called them. It apparently is a toy for the young generations. Microsoft Kin doesn't include an instant-messaging application. According to the statement from Microsoft and Verizon, texting wasn't nearly as popular back then, and there was no such thing as Twitter.

According to PC World' report, Microsoft Kin is the first smartphones based on Nvidia's low-power Tegra chips, which were introduced close to two years ago and have found their way into portable media players including Microsoft's Zune HD and Samsung's M1. They haven't yet appeared in smartphones.

Everyone agree on Microsoft Kin One and Kin Two are heavy social networking handsets, and so are the Nokia handsets, all these new handsets have that in common offering access to Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and the like; which seems to be the way to go with new phones.  The social mobile phone era is coming.

Microsoft's releasing of Kin one and Kin two makes the ongoing rumor that Sony is working on a mobile phone more credible.
